OUR STORY

The heart behind The Hope Experience Outreach began in 2010 with a simple desire to give back and make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community. What started through personal funds and community donations continued to grow as more needs were identified and more opportunities to serve became possible.

In 2020, The Hope Experience Outreach (THEO) was established to expand that vision and create a stronger foundation for lasting community impact. In 2021, THEO expanded its work through Work Readiness programming, providing individuals with practical skills, guidance, and support to help prepare them for employment and future opportunities.

Today, THEO provides year-round workforce development, work readiness, mentoring, and community support for youth, adults, and families. Our programs are designed to equip individuals with skills and resources that help them move forward, while our community initiatives—including our Annual Back to School Drive and Christmas Connection—allow us to continue the outreach that has been at the heart of our work since 2010.

What began as a commitment to meet an immediate need has grown into a broader mission: empowering people, building skills, strengthening families, and creating opportunities for lasting impact.
