The Hope Experience Outreach (THEO) is committed to supporting youth and families throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area through community initiatives that provide resources, encouragement, and meaningful support. Our Community Initiatives reflect a commitment to meeting practical needs while helping individuals and families move forward with dignity and hope.
Our two signature community initiatives—the Annual Back to School Drive and Christmas Connection—have allowed THEO and our community partners to support families during important times of the year
Our Annual Back to School Drive is THEO's longest-running community initiative. What began in 2010 with approximately 30 backpacks has grown into an annual effort supported by volunteers, businesses, and community partners. Through this initiative, students receive backpacks and school supplies to help them begin the school year prepared and confident.
Christmas Connection extends our commitment to families during the holiday season by providing gifts and other support to families experiencing financial hardship. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we work to create a meaningful experience that brings joy and reminds families that their community stands with them.
While these initiatives take place during specific seasons, the commitment behind them reflects something much bigger—THEO's ongoing dedication to strengthening families, supporting our community, and creating opportunities for hope.
2010— Where It Began
Community outreach begins with approximately 30 backpacks for local students
2020— THEO Is Established
The Hope Experience Outreach is formally established as a 501(c)(3), creating a foundation to expand the organization's reach and impact.
2021— Expanding Our Impact
THEO launches Work Readiness programming, expanding from seasonal outreach into year-round skill development and career preparation.
TODAY — Growing the Mission
THEO continues providing workforce development and mentoring while carrying forward its signature Back to School and Christmas Connection community initiatives.
